Welcome to the Athens County Bassmasters Web Site. We are a FLW/TBF affiliated club and dedicated to promoting bass fishing in Ohio. We fish 12 tournaments a year on a wide variety of Ohio lakes on Saturdays and Sundays. The club supports the goals of the FLW/TBF including conservation, youth, and competition. The club is actively seeking new members, both boaters and nonboaters.

 | Tony Grubbs wins his third consecutive Club Championship in 2009. This is the first time in our club history that a member has won three years in a row. Also this year Tony finished 14th at the State Championship Tournament at Alum Creek October 10 and 11 and Tony won the TOC at Buckeye Lake. We also had two other members representing us at Alum Creek State Championship Augie Zorn and Ryan Grimm. Great job guys. |
 | Phil Kellog wins the 2009 Athens County Bassmasters two day Classic Tournament at White Oak with 13lbs.62. This is the second year in a row where a first year member has won the Classic. I would like to add that Phil also won this years Classic from the back of the boat which deserves a little extra congratulation. It's been a great year of fishing with a different 1st place finisher almost in each Tournament. |
Fisherman's Prayer
God grant that I may live to fish until my dying day
And when it comes to my last cast I then most humbly pray
When in the Lord's safe landing net I'm peacefully asleep
